Prayer Initiatives
We Pray First
Prayer is at the heart of Fords on a Mission. It is the primary way we listen, discern, and respond to God. Our prayer initiatives flow from sustained obedience over time and from assignments that have unfolded nationally and internationally through prayerful discernment rather than strategy.

The Scope of Our Prayer Initiatives
Prayer initiatives connected to Fords on a Mission have taken place across nearly thirty nations and forty five states within the United States. As a family, we have undertaken prayer journeys across the United States multiple times, responding to assignments that required presence, endurance, and sustained intercession over distance and time. These journeys were not single events, but repeated acts of obedience carried out over years.
Internationally, our prayer assignments have included prayer journeys and on site intercession throughout the United Kingdom, including Ireland, Wales, and Scotland. We have also participated in prayer initiatives across maritime regions of Canada, praying through coastal and border areas as led.
Beyond North America and the United Kingdom, prayer initiatives have taken place in strategic locations throughout India, multiple regions of Africa, Pakistan, and Italy. In each context, prayer has been offered with awareness of local history, culture, and spiritual dynamics, often in partnership with trusted leaders already serving on the ground.

On Site and Contextual Prayer
Many prayer initiatives take place on site in locations of spiritual, civic, historical, or cultural significance. We believe place matters and that prayer offered with awareness, humility, and listening invites understanding, repentance, and transformation.
On site prayer has included prayer walks through cities and regions, intercession at seats of leadership and influence, prayer in locations marked by transition or conflict, and quiet presence in places carrying historical or spiritual weight. These moments are approached not with confrontation, but with listening and faithful intercession.

Corporate and Sustained Prayer
Some burdens are meant to be carried together. Over time, certain prayer assignments have developed into sustained rhythms of corporate intercession involving coordinated prayer calls, shared focus, and agreement across regions and nations.
Fords on a Mission is relationally connected with houses of prayer in our local area and actively involved in helping lead prayer within our local church community. In addition, we have partnered with and advised prayer houses, ministry leaders, and intercessory communities connected to national and international prayer initiatives.
These prayer rhythms invite others to stand together in agreement, pray for leaders and nations, and respond collectively as God brings clarity and direction.

A Posture of Stewardship
Not every prayer initiative is public, and not every assignment is widely shared. We steward visibility carefully, honoring people, places, and timing. Whether prayer is offered as a family on long journeys, in quiet on site intercession, or through sustained corporate rhythms, our desire remains the same: to listen well, respond faithfully, and remain obedient to what God entrusts to us.
