Take the Cities

The spring is full of new life for us. While enjoying all the adventures a newborn brings, we are also excited to embark on new missions from the Lord. As I write this, Jason is in Southern California preparing to be counted among over 100,000 believers uniting for prayer, worship, and revival at Azusa Now. As he always does on such trips, Jason has taken this opportunity to pray strategically in parts of Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Malibu. He is also humbled to be able attend some of the leader functions for the event, allowing him to hear stories of what God is doing across the nation, to meet and encourage ministers, and to engage others in prayer for the Middle Tennessee area. We will share more stories after the trip; in the meantime, please pray that God uses Azusa Now as a springboard of hope and unity in the Body of Christ.

Shortly after Jason returns, we will all venture again to Washington D.C. to re-connect with our friends with David\’s Tent and the Justice House of Prayer. We have been anxious to return to our nation\’s capital, as it has grown a place in our hearts as one of our \”missions.\” We are no less eager to see those dear people whose dedication to prayer and worship, to life and godly love, is so inspiring to us.

From there, we will join Jon and Jolene Hamill for the northeast leg of The Glory Train tour. We will travel by train to New York City, Boston, and Philadelphia, before going back to D.C. At each of these cities there will be a gathering to intercede for that city, asking God to send His glory there. As always, we will seek out the specific prayer assignments God has for us in each city.

It is interesting to me that in a matter of two weeks, we will on the ground in the two largest cities in our nation, L.A. and NYC, two of the most historically significant cities, Boston and Philadelphia, and perhaps the most influential, Washington D.C. We believe God is placing us in these cities strategically for His purposes if we will tune in to His direction.

Please pray for us, as this will be a first trip with a family of five, first with Seraphina, first trip to busy NYC, and first trip by train. We need smooth logistics, safety for the children, and divine packing strategy (Ha ha!).

Thank you for your prayer Service! Stay tuned for more stories!
